I made a daytrip from Chiang Rai to Chiang Sean and the one and a half hour bus trip to Chiang Sean was worthwhile. I went to the museum which showcases a missing part from a Buddha Sculpture that had been missing in the Mekong River. The day market is fascinating and Wat Chedi Luang is pretty much interesting as the old ruins is in the middle of the street which is a total contrast from the scenery.
