Farewell

To my beloved walker,

Star, is the four letter word I'll remember for each and every Walker.

Not the kind of star you see on the stage,

Neither are the one you received when you're once a child scoring A

The star that shines brightly on the road,

applied with counter pain,

tortured by blister,

dehydrated by the hot humid weather, and lastly

the stars that dance, laugh and sing along the majestic road from Bangkok to Sangklaburi

(okay, only Marina dance and I sing)

Nonetheless, I will always remember the strength that you've shone on me

even under the mid-day sun,

all of you inspires me greatly, wisely and kindly as an ordinary human being.

Because of you,

I've learn to sing from my heart knowing I can overcome any life challenges (no pun intended)

Most importantly,

when the night comes,

the stars shine even brighter, and it's only

in the darkest time that we live in,

can the star shine the brightest.

After walking with all of you for 15 days,

absorbing, learning and interacting,

not knowing in the beginning,

what I can achieve or contribute

I now realize

I'm actually

a star too...
